She co-wrote the track with Mark Ronson, BloodPop and songwriter Hillary Lindsey, who has written the massive country hits like Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush” and Carrie Underwood’s “Jesus, Take the Wheel.” Above a stomping beat, Gaga utilizes fire and car metaphors - “I can’t wait to rev you up/ Faster than you can say ‘Ferrari.'” Songs such as Brown Eyes, Summer Boy, Speechless and Teeth are very similar to what is on Joanne. The funky outlaw song shows the pop singer going in a rootsy new direction.
